Product Description

Rocoto chilies are chill peppers stemming from the capsicum pubescens which is a plant native to Bolivia and Peru. These chill peppers have a red, or yellow appearance and resemble a bell pepper. Despite its likeness to bell pepper, it has thick flesh,  is not that mild, and has a spicy taste. It has also been known for its hot flavor that can spice up any dish with 10-20 times more heat than the jalapeño variety.

In addition to its taste it is high in vitamins A, C and E and is beneficial to our health. Rocotos are also well known to benefit joint and muscle pain as they have anti-inflammatory properties. Furthermore, it  could be used to treat rheumatism as they have been shown to be a good pain reliever
