Torrecafé Águila Roja was founded by José Panebianco de Rosa in 1930, in Cali (Colombia), where it established itself as one of the most important companies in the region.
This growth motivated the company to move to other areas of the country and inaugurate its first roasted and/or ground coffee production plant in 1974.
