Dandelion is a plant with yellow flowers originating from Eurasia and North America. The most common form of the plant is known as Taraxacum officinale which can be grown worldwide. The plant can be considered to be a herb as the leaves, stem, flower, and root of the dandelion are used medicinal purposes. To make the tea leaves can be used to form tea bags which hot water must be added or simply bring water to a boil and filter leaves out. The tea has a bitter, slightly sweet and herbal taste to it.
